Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 17, 2026
The Counseling Brothers of Atlanta, Inc. (“CBOA”) is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to mental health resources should be available to all members of our community.
Our Commitment
We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. Our goal is a site that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
Measures We Take
- Designing for keyboard navigation and screen-reader compatibility
- Providing text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images
- Working to maintain sufficient color contrast for text and key elements
- Using clear, consistent headings and page structure
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our site updates
Known Limitations
We are in the process of improving our site and are aware of some areas that do not yet fully meet our accessibility goals, including color contrast on certain text and buttons and some structural and navigation refinements. We are actively working to identify and resolve these issues, and we welcome reports of any barriers you encounter.
Third-Party Content
Some features rely on third-party tools (for example, our therapist directory, donation page, and any embedded maps or forms). We do not control the accessibility of third-party content, but we will advocate for accessible solutions wherever possible.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from this site in an alternative format, please contact us and we will do our best to help:
Please include the page address (URL) and a description of the issue so we can assist you promptly.
